How do I participate?

By joining the NREGA Knowledge Network you have been automatically subscribed to a network mailgroup. A mailgroup is an e-mail list that allows every person on the list to receive the same e-mail simultaneously. The address of the mailgroup for the NREGA Knowledge Network is nreganet-mord@nic.in and a message sent to you from the mailgroup will have "[nreganet]" at the beginning of the subject line.

The Community's mailgroup is moderated; i.e., all messages intended for the mailgroup are first directed to a mailgroup Moderator, for review. The Moderator is a rural development professional and a skilled e-mail communicator, and will ensure that the message is clear and appropriate for dissemination. For example, the Moderator can block messages sent in error or offensive messages, generate a translation, or work with the sender to improve the phrasing of a question so that it generates a good response. Once the Moderator approves the message, it gets sent to the whole mailgroup.

You can also use the Network's web-based e-mail forum to send or read messages.
