About the Education Community
- To build awareness, create thoughts, generate discussions, create data base, bring global research to India on issues in education, build an information base and overall create a virtual and physical platform for debate, exchange of views and building momentum around identified themes;

- To help education leaders and leading education institutions to understand and address some of the important and complex challenges in education in India by sharing experiences, knowledge and information with one another and with other key education contacts, such as the UN network and other members of the development community.
- To address issues that highlight the shortcomings of the present system in functioning as a powerful instrument of social change and experiments, innovations, trials and attempts being made to redesign it for the purpose..

- Create forum for advocacy to build momentum around education
- Support robust and effective systems for delivery of quality and equitable education
