About the Food and Nutrition Security Community

The space created by Food and Nutrition Security Community (FNS) hosted by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is a first of its kind forum of the development practitioners to share knowledge, seek solutions to everyday challenges, clarify doubts, throw up new ideas and have a open discourse on country’s key developmental challenges and processes. The forum also fosters focused and constructive collaborations and facilitates live networking.

The community aims to:

  • Become internationally acknowledged as key forum for development practitioners to connect and collaborate
  • Catalyze collaborative efforts to have a demonstrable impact on MDG and national development targets
  • Establish a publicly available “knowledge repository” for storing and accessing solution to day to day issues and challenges

Food and Nutrition Security Community Partnerships

Community Partnerships, besides Sponsors or Host organisations, the system provides for partnership constructs, each construct must have (a) Partnership type, (b) Organisation that is partnered with, and (c) Output. Create relevant RR if needed before linking to them.
