Solution Exchange, started in 2005, is a knowledge management initiative of the United Nations in India, working with a mandate to facilitate the achievement of National Development Goals and Miillenium Development  Goals.  The initiative brings together development practitioners from the grassroots, NGOs, multi-laterals and bi-laterals, private sector, academia, activists as well as the Government to share knowledge, facilitate collaboration amongst them and increase the effectiveness of development programmes.
