Time flies … Two and a half years ago AIDS Community started with a bang, the NACP-III e-Consultation. In three months, it brought in 800 responses, from 300 members. Since then, it has been an incredible journey, for together we have learned a lot and continue to learn new things with every passing day or perhaps it is more appropriate to say with every query! Until now, we have had 84 queries with over 2000 email exchanges. The membership has steadily crossed the three thousand five hundred mark. It has been a very rewarding experience for us and we hope it has been the same for you as well. We had our visioning workshop in September 2006, which gave us a wonderful opportunity to interact personally with some of our members. A few participants have come together on three burning issues by forming action groups and are working together to create pilots that tested the knowledge produced in the discussions.
It is our pleasure to see this web space for the members of AIDS Community. From the vibrant responses to the queries and the intense feedback we get from you, this team expects an encore for these pages. Thus, we see it improving with every input you provide. Please send us any useful information that you would like to disseminate to members as well as suggestions for improvement. In addition, we request members to update their e-mail address and contact details in our database, so that it is easier for us to invite you to workshops and meetings. Nothing makes our knowledge-sharing journey more worthwhile!
Thank you friends for making it happen. Every thought you contribute counts. Please keep the interactions flowing. Keep writing!
