The Decentralization Community is comprised of:

• A Community "Facilitator", UNDP plays the role of Community Convener
• A "Resource Team" - the Resource Person and Community Moderator, supported by a Research Associate, who manage the Community interactions, organize the production of Consolidated Replies and other knowledge products, and support Community activities, both over the electronic network and in organizing face-to-face events
• A "Resource Group" representing influential actors in the field of decentralization and local governance in India, whose role is to establish the Community’s priorities, provides the Community with guidance, direction and support, commission collaborative work ("Action Groups") to tackle key challenges, and to evaluate performance and impact.
