Education Community comments on the Karnataka government’s draft inclusive education policy and contributes points to a workshop on the issue …

In December 2006, the Government of Karnataka placed their draft inclusive education policy before members of the Education Community for their comments and inputs on the document.

The government then used the Consolidated Reply, summarizing members’ comments on the draft during a workshop held by the state government to finalize the draft policy. The CR was also used to initiate discussions among the government working groups on the different areas of the policy.

The government finalized the draft in 2007, incorporating points put forward by members of the Education Community.
