Community Organization

The ICT for Development is comprised of:

  • Community "Facilitators"- UNDP and UNESCO play the role of Community Convener
  • A "Resource Team" - the Resource Person and Community Moderator, supported by a Research Associate, who manage the Community interactions, organize the production of Consolidated Replies and other knowledge products, and support Community activities, both over the electronic network and in organizing face-to-face events
  • A "Resource Group" representing key organizations and agencies in the ICT for Development sector in India whose role is to establish the Community’s priorities, provides the Community with guidance, direction and support, commission collaborative work ("Action Groups") to tackle key challenges, and to evaluate performance and impact.

Research Associate: Gitanjali Sah
Development Professional with six years of varied experience in Information and Communication Technology for Development (ICT4D) projects in India ranging from project research, planning, initiation, fundraising, implementation and monitoring. Has an MPhil. in Development Studies from University of Cambridge and M.A. in Political Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
