Contributions from members of the Microfinance Community incorporated into the annual State of the Sector Report.

The Microfinance in India: State of the Sector Report 2007, produced each year by the Ford Foundation, Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC) and Access Development (published by Sage) covers the emerging issues and status of the microfinance sector in India and contains chapters on the progress of the SHG Bank Linkage Programme. The Microfinance Community’s contributions to the sector were highlighted on page 25 (Size 1.3 MB) of the report, in the section discussing the microfinance sector’s infrastructure of support services, specifically highlighting SHG federations, MFI performance, urban microfinance, social performance, micro-insurance and technology and regulation.
