The Education Community addresses challenges to meeting national and globally mandated goals with respect to improving the quality of basic education, and promoting access and enrolment through primary levels.

What is Solution Exchange for the Education Community?

Education Community of Practice is geared towards National development priorities focusing on the Act  on Right to Free and Compulsory education for Children , Education for all and the Millennium Development Goals, contributing to their successful achievement through its membership across individuals and institutions including government departments, civil society organizations, private sector, academia, activists, multi-lateral and bilateral agencies engaging them in an ongoing process of knowledge sharing, networking and collaboration.

Accompanying Government of India in ensuring inclusive educational opportunities for all focusing on girls, disadvantaged and minority groups, within the context of Right to Education Act, Education for all (EFA) and the Millennium Development Goals, Education Community purpose is to build awareness on pertinent issues, creating thoughts and data base on educational concerns to facilitate exchange of views on various aspects of education for the members. It further connects the members to create forum for advocacy with the stakeholders primarily with the government to improve the equity, quality and accessibility and help building a virtual and physical platform for debate on relevant issues
